Hochberg made TV headlines recently for guiding four different cable networks into reality programming for their first time, brokering over 20 different branding deals on them. Among them USA Network's first reality series, “The Moment”, hosted by Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner and TNT's "The Great  Escape", an action-packed program Hochberg created and produced with Hollywood greats Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Bertram van Munster. In addition, this past summer he launched “Race to the Scene,” a movie themed competition series for the Reelz Channel hosted by Dolph Lundgren, which Hochberg engineered the sale of to a dozen countries before its US premiere, followed by CNBC's new #1 rated show, “The Profit”. Hochberg was recently nominated for the Critic's Choice Award for Best Reality Series and Real Screen's Best Documentary, and has been recognized as Hollywood Reporter's “50 Most Powerful Reality Producers”. Prior to entering the television industry, Hochberg served as Microsoft Corporation's Director of Business Development for Interactive TV, before becoming the company's Head of Business Development for its Digital Media TV efforts.

 

Dina Mallin is Vice President of Talent Services for United Entertainment Group. Dina joined UEG in 2009, bringing a wealth of experience in celebrity/talent engagement including strategic partnerships, content program development and spokesperson deal-making across multiple genres. Her clients include RIM/BlackBerry, Microsoft, Heinz, Schick, Kellogg’s, Jim Beam, TJ Maxx/Marshalls/HomeGoods, Pfizer, güd by Burt’s Bees, Symantec and Shell among others.  She has secured deals on behalf of these clients with talent including Carly Rae Jepsen, Jane Lynch, Dwight Howard, Adrian Grenier, Lucy Liu, Common, Piers Morgan, Olivia Wilde, Snoop Dogg and more. Before joining UEG, Dina was Senior Manager of Talent and Music Artist Relations at Davie Brown Entertainment where she created and oversaw the talent strategy for corporate clients across fashion, gaming, music, hotel and other key industries.

She developed programs/celebrity tie-ins for brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Paige Premium Denim, GameStop and Timberland, and has worked with the likes of Taylor Swift, The Black Eyed Peas, Britney Spears, Bruce Willis, Heidi Klum, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Wyclef Jean and Tim Gunn. Previously, Dina spent several years working as a Talent Agent at Writers and Artists Agency (W&A) and quickly became the driving force in creating a music cross-over department.  She then began her mission to represent musicians and signed clients that included the BackStreet Boys and *NSync.

 

Bill Sanders, SVP, Athlete & Talent Marketing, Excel Sports Management; During his 20+ year career, Bill Sanders has established himself as one of the most foremost experts in talent marketing and brand building. His work with icons such as Yao Ming and Steve Nash in many ways helped set the standard for athlete marketing and brand building. By helping clients build, maintain and protect their brands, Bill’s strategic approach increases client marketability, raises brand awareness and increases their revenue. Bill believes the key to effective talent marketing is the formulation of a long-term player/brand strategy, which includes a substantial commitment to community involvement, media relations and social media plans, and the pursuit of appropriate corporate partners. Bill and the rest of the talent marketing team at Excel Sports Management are dedicated to the development of individual marketing strategies that highlight each client’s strengths, talents and interests.  During his career, Bill has aligned his clients with numerous global brands, including: Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Gatorade, Vitamin Water, Visa, American Express, Apple, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Guinness, Bridgestone, Raymond Weil, Tag Heuer and many more.  Bill earned his MBA, with an emphasis in Marketing and Entertainment Studies, at UCLA. He earned his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University. Bill also teaches Sports Marketing at UCLA’s Anderson School. He resides in Pacific Palisades, California with his wife, Elizabeth and their son, Brendan.

 

Jonathan Lowe is a strategic marketing and promotions professional with a proven track record of creating dynamic and innovative campaigns for sports teams, live events, music artists and consumer products. In his 12th year with sports and live event leader, AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group), Jonathan has created and executed marketing campaigns for its most prized assets including STAPLES Center, The Los Angeles Kings, The Los Angeles Galaxy and The StubHub Center as well as national music tours and pay-per-views. Currently, Jonathan serves as the Vice President of Marketing for AEG Sports, overseeing creative/branding, advertising, media buying, promotions as well as playing a key role in driving digital and social media innovation.  Jonathan has been behind a number of innovative digital and social media “firsts” that have positioned his properties as leaders in this ever-changing landscape. His marketing campaigns and promotions have received regional and national recognition in media outlets including the LA Times, New York Times, Daily News, Forbes.com, MSN.com, Fast Company, Life Magazine.com, Sports Illustrated, Los Angeles Business Journal, Entertainment Tonight, E!News, ABC (Los Angeles), ESPN TV and FoxSports.com. In addition, Jonathan has created marketing and promotions campaigns for The Los Angeles Lakers, 10 World Championship Boxing Events, Celine Dion’s Las Vegas Show A NEW DAY, The King Tut Exhibit at LACMA as well as national concert tours with Prince and Rod Stewart, just to name a few.  In addition to his role at AEG, Jonathan is also an Adjunct Instructor at the University of San Francisco’s Graduate Program in Sports Management and serves on the Promax BDA Sports Media Marketing Awards Advisory Council

 

Mark Wolf, Writer, Director, Producer, Change The World Productions: Mark Wolf has a strong passion to make a positive difference in our world through digital media & film production. His media background includes working at ABC’s LOST, PBS, The White House, and managing his own production company. He has worked on a total of over 200 film and media projects, with films that have played at and won awards at Sundance, Tribeca, Berlin, and other international festivals. The works he is most proud of are the films created with a public service cause. Mark has written, directed, and produced documentary and narrative content for The 2008 Barack Obama Campaign, at The 2013 Inauguration of President Obama for The Smithsonian, The US Navy, The Emperor and Empress of Japan, The Red Cross, The University of Hawaii, The University of Southern California, and Congressman and Governor Neil Abercrombie. Mark had the honor of serving in The Executive Office of The President at The White House, where he helped produce videos and media strategies for President Obama and his administration. He also served as New Media Director in Governor Neil Abercrombie’s Administration, and he has taught media production classes at the University of Hawaii Outreach College and Creative Academies. Currently, he owns his own production non profit organization, Change The World Productions, which focuses on creating good stories that make a social impact and inspire action. He also works with President Obama's sister, Dr. Maya Soetoro-Ng, on several service projects including The Obama Foundation and her non profit organizations Ceeds of Peace and Our Public School. He now lives in LA and works on several projects in the Film and TV industry.

 

Steven Masur, Senior Partner, Cowan DeBaets Abrahams & Sheppard, LLP: focuses his practice on corporate finance, M&A, intellectual property, strategic transactions, entertainment and new business concepts. He has over 20 years of experience advising digital media and entertainment clients on their corporate and intellectual property transactions and day-to-day business issues. Mr. Masur brings unique strategic business experience to CDAS. He has counseled enterprise level clients including Shazam, Virgin Mobile, Liberty Media, Yamaha, Nielsen Buzzmetrics, Bob Vila and Conde Nast Publications in corporate, digital media, and new business matters. He has also helped clients in a wide variety of early stage businesses, including mobile, games, digital music, film, publishing, advertising, retail sales, software and hardware to achieve breakthrough results. Mr. Masur's transactional experience includes a wide variety of deals in angel and venture capital finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic transactions in the US and abroad. He is passionate about helping new businesses break through to the mass market, and frequently assists clients with identifying and formalizing partnership opportunities with Fortune 500 and celebrity brands. Mr. Masur is especially knowledgeable about mobile, internet, social media, emerging content distribution models, e-commerce, games and mobile payments.
