TOM WRIGHT, Founder at Tactic. Managing Director at Ntropic: As a founder of Tactic and Managing Director of Ntropic, Tom is responsible for strategic direction, growth and development of the creative production offering across offices in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. At Tactic, a creative technology studio focused on augmented and VR experiences, real-time visualization, engine-based creative executions, Tom marries the ad world, the brand world, and high-end content with technology and invention. Tom came to Tactic and Ntropic from a role as SVP, Director of Integrated Production at

twofifteenmccann, where he led production on Xbox platform and game title work, as well as work across media on brands including HP, The Coca Cola Company, Help Remedies, Under Armour and Annie's foods. In addition to twofifteenmccann, Tom has held Executive Producer or Director of Production roles with Cutwater, Rabbit Content, and Publicis & Hal Riney. During his career, Tom has worked on brands as diverse as Jeep, Nike, Xbox, the Halo franchise, Ford, Sprint, Apple, Amazon, Ray Ban, Brand Jordan and MTV. His His digital and traditional work has been honored by the Cannes Cyber Lions and Film Lions, The FWA, FWA Mobile, the One Show, One Show Entertainment, D&AD, AICP, and the TED Conference.

 

Jeff Nicholas, EVP, Strategy, Creative & Growth, vantage.tv and EP & Director, VEHICLEvr : Jeff Nicholas is Co-Founder and President of The Uprising Creative, an award-winning creative agency with clients that include some of the most culturally influential artists and brands in the world. Jeff's vision and dedication, as well as his extensive experience in a variety of roles in the music and lifestyle markets, helps him and his company drive full-service creative and interactive campaigns and projects that are unmatched in quality and reach. Based in Los Angeles, Jeff is also an acclaimed music video and commercial director and producer for artists such as Mike Shinoda/Fort Minor, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Jason Mraz and Shakira, and brands like Beats By Dr. Dre and Bud Light Platinum; also, Jeff is the head of development of new strategic partnerships and campaigns for leading industry labels, agencies, artists, managers, technology partners, and merchandise companies. His background also includes developing multiple independent clothing brands, in-house work with Silva Artist Management overseeing merchandise, design, and tour marketing for clients such as Foo Fighters, Beastie Boys, Jimmy Eat World, Beck, Sonic Youth and others, and stints as Artist Manager for Bill Silva Management and Tour Manager for Jason Mraz and Unwritten Law. In 2015, Jeff and his Uprising partners launched virtual reality content studio VEHICLEvr to focus specifically on the creation, development, production and direction of original and branded VR content, as well as providing high-end VR production services to its partner companies.

 

Morris May, CEO/Founder, Specular Theory: Morris May has been a special effects expert in the motion picture industry for more than 25 years. He has worked on 30+ Hollywood films, including two Academy Award winners: Spiderman (Best Visual Effects) and Happy Feet (Best Animated Feature Film.) May served as the CG Supervisor for a number of films, such as The Fast and the Furious and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. May founded Specular Theory in 2013 to bring Hollywood visual effects to the masses using state-of-the-art technology and innovative visual content. As CEO of Specular Theory, May researches, selects and develops cutting-edge technology to create VR experiences and the tools to make storytelling possible in the new unexplored world of virtual reality.

 

Andrew Shulkind is an award-winning cinematographer best known for his creative use of innovative camera and lighting techniques.  As one of the most sought-after commercial cinematographers, Andrew shoots around the globe for a host of well-known brands including Nike, Old Spice, and Apple. Andrew’s auspicious career began as a camera operator for such luminaries as Janusz Kaminski, Don Burgess, and Emanuel Lubeszki.  Since then, Andrew and his work has been profiled in American Cinematographer, Hollywood Reporter, and Variety and has screened at festivals including the Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and many others. Andrew was recently recognized as one of the industry's top emerging cinematographers by the International Cinematographers Guild and in 2014 was the first individual awarded the Studio Prime Award - a distinction reserved for manufacturers leading technological innovation in the world of film.As an innovating director of Virtual Reality Cinematography at Headcase, Andrew provides world class cinema skill sets in developing, building and operating revolutionary 360° Virtual Reality camera systems.
