The Digital Hollywood Experience

Chuck Dalaklis, CEO, Dalaklis Media Enterprises (DME): From the emotion of “In Their Own Words: Muhammad Ali” to the power of “Behind the Music” to the adrenalin of “Dude What Would Happen” -- Chuck Dalaklis and Dalaklis Media Enterprises’ mandate is simple: Create immersive programming that powers intelligent and engaging entertainment. For over a decade, Chuck was the Managing Partner and Co-owner of DME, a successful production company with over one hundred employees and responsible for thousands of hours of programming on the air and on the web. In 2011, Chuck and DME became part of the Interpublic network of agencies. For over two years, Chuck served as Head of Alternative for Momentum Entertainment Group (MEG), a production entity/agency that is part of the Momentum Worldwide group of companies owned by Interpublic Group (NYSE:IPG). While at MEG, Chuck developed, distributed and produced programming for broadcast and digital platforms with an emphasis on Drama, Comedy, Reality, Documentary and Broadcast Television. Prior to IPG, DME helped develop and launch the concept of Branded Entertainment. Long before it was the norm for advertisers and producers to work in tandem, DME created the mold. DME’s two hit series on USA Network: Ready for the Weekend Movies and Before and After’noon Movie redefined the concept of creative synergy between advertisers and producers. As a result, these entertaining, fully sponsored series ran for over five-years and close to five hundred episodes. In 2013, Chuck ventured beyond IPG to reboot DME as a privately owned production entity. DME develops and produces with multiple diverse agencies and brand entities including Busch Beer’s critically acclaimed “Here’s to Earning It” campaign. In addition, IPG’s agencies and brand partners continue to work closely with Chuck and DME as a preferred partner in their ongoing initiatives. DME is also continuing to produce for numerous television networks. In addition to creating and producing the National Geographic special “Crocpocalypse”, Chuck created and produces the PBS breakout biography series “In Their Own Words”. Season 1 featured 20th century icons, including Muhammad Ali, Queen Elizabeth II and Jim Henson. Embracing new technology, DME is in development on a unique VR series in partnership with Manatt Digital Media.
