Prior to this, he served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Law and Government Affairs, for Comcast Cable Communications in Philadelphia. In this position, he maintained business responsibility for Comcast's Video on Demand platform, Comcast University and claims management. He was also responsible for overseeing the Law department for the country's leading cable and broadband communications provider, advising senior management on legal and business issues, and for Comcast's state and local government affairs in the 5000 communities and 41 states in which it did business. Prior to joining Comcast, for 23 years Bienstock was in private practice, serving as lead counsel on numerous major communications, First Amendment and property rights cases for most of the top media and cable companies, and lead high visibility cases, from the first fully televised trial in the U.S. to the Noriega tapes case for CNN. He pioneered litigation in the cable television industry for operators, programmers and equipment manufacturers, and successfully prosecuted cases on theft of service, copyright and trademark, premises access, franchising, franchise modifications, transfers, renewals, leased access and other constitutional and Cable Act issues. He has over 100 reported decisions to his name. A graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1975 and the Rutgers-Camden School of Law in 1978, Bienstock has authored several articles in leading legal publications on cable issues such as theft of service, franchising and access to premises. He regularly lectures at numerous national trade associates and legal conferences on various communications, media, regulatory, law department management and litigation topics, and at business conferences on new media topics


John Solomon, CCO, Circa, Sinclair Broadcast Group: Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. announces the launch of "Circa," an independent digital news site aimed at the new generation, and the hiring of John Solomon as Chief Creative Officer.  Mr. Solomon, who most recently served as Vice President for Content and Business Development for The Washington Times, is a recognized talent who started his career at the age of 20 as a reporter for The Associated Press and two years later became the wire service's youngest news editor.  Mr. Solomon, respected as an original thinker and serious investigative journalist, is known to produce balanced reports with reader appeal. Mr. Solomon has a renowned career in news, including serving since 2013 as Editor and VP for Content and Business Development for The Washington Times, where he helped guide a money-losing newspaper to its first profitability in 33 years.  Over the years, his award-winning reporting and editing has exposed the failure of school districts to keep convicted child molesters from returning to classrooms, highlighted the federal government's use of unwitting foster children and military veterans in dangerous drug experiments, stopped the FBI's use of a bogus science to convict defendants and unmasked how much the government knew about impending terror threats prior to Sept. 11, 2001 but failed to act upon. After starting in college as a sports reporter for United Press International, he worked for two decades at the AP wire service as a reporter, news editor, multimedia investigative editor and Assistant Washington Bureau Chief until joining the Washington Post in 2007 as its national investigative reporter.  He has also served as Executive Editor for the Center for Public Integrity and Director of News for Newsweek and The Daily Beast.


JR Griffin is the Vice President of Digital Marketing & Business Development at FremantleMedia North America (FMNA).  In this role, he is responsible for digital integrations for hit FMNA shows such as American Idol and America's Got Talent.  JR is a publishing and digital media executive with over a decade of new media and web content development, programming and management experience. Whether it be through stimulating viewer engagement, creating innovative digital content, or forming groundbreaking partnerships, JR has been a leader in amplifying FMNA’s social TV presence, and finding unique ways for the company’s formats to evolve. His work on American Idol has produced multiple worldwide firsts, including the debut of Google Search Voting and partnering with Facebook to show real-time voting trends. JR has also been instrumental in creating live-stream programs for American Idol, America's Got Talent and The X Factor that engaged audiences online, and complemented the show's on-air broadcasts. For the upcoming season of America’s Got Talent, JR created a partnership with YouNow to launch another worldwide first by creating live-streaming auditions to connect YouNow's talented community with the show's producers. Prior to joining FMNA, JR created and ran the New Media Programming division of NBCUniversal for their E!, Style and G4 networks.  In this role, he oversaw the creation of all video content for each of the networks’ sites and mobile applications, as well as their video syndication businesses, which included signature Academy Awards, Golden Globes and Grammy Awards coverage.


Caroline Wilson is the Vice President of Integrated Marketing at Pop Media Group, where she is responsible for developing and executing innovative, actionable solutions for Pop’s national advertisers, as well as helping to lead the network’s annual upfront strategy. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Content Strategy at Initiative, where she developed traditional, digital and social media content campaigns for key clients. Prior to Initiative, Caroline served as Creative Experiences Director for Microsoft Advertising and as a Director at Edelman / Matter. When not dreaming up the next great creative experience for brands and audiences, Caroline enjoys family road trips, creating music with her husband and two small daughters, watching the latest crazy cat video, and she hasn’t met a bowl of queso she doesn’t love.


Johnny McMahon is the VP of WPT Studios and Executive in Charge of Production of the World Poker Tour.  He oversees the Television Production and execution of the event series which is shot in various locations across North America, Europe and Asia.  The World Poker Tour is going into its 15th Season and airs on Fox Sports 2 and Fox Sports Regional Networks in the US averaging 1M viewers per week.  Johnny is also in charge of distributing and monetizing the series and the library worldwide, currently seen in over 30 countries including China on digital platforms.  As the head of WPT Studios Johnny has recently started a studio in Beijing, China where they will begin creating and producing an e-Sports league distributing content to multiple platforms in China and around the World. Before WPT, Johnny has held multiple leadership roles in digital including AlphaBird an audience acquisition company, as the SVP of Production and Programming.  Endemol USA as the Head of Digital Production where he executed all original productions for the division including Married On MySpace, Dream Makers with Kobe Bryant, and MLB FanCave Season 1.  He was also at RipeDigital Entertainment as the Vice President of Production.  Funded by Time Warner and Hearst and one of the first Multi-Channel Networks in the world, Johnny was responsible for all content production and delivery including development, physical production, post-production and transporting of over 200 video assets per month to all of Rpie’s online Channels and various digital distribution platforms including VOD and Mobile both domestic and international territories.  He is the recipient of many of many digital honors, including the Cannes Lion, Telly award, Webby and the Cynopsis Sports Award.  In Television, he worked as a Manger of Production & Finance at Lifetime, Manager of Development at Atmosphere Entertainment, Production Manager for multiple series at CBS and Produced movies made for television for VH1, USA and UPN.


Erik Ramberg, Director of Product Management, TV & Media, Ericsson: Erik is a seasoned product management and business development executive with over 15 years of experience in the media and technology industry. He is the Director of Product Management for Ericsson MediaFirst TV Platform. In this role, he oversees the product and business strategy of Ericsson’s new cloud TV technology product, working with Tier-1 global operators as they deploy their next-generation cloud-based TV services. He has spoken at shows including TV of Tomorrow and Digital Entertainment World. Erik joined Ericsson as part of the Mediaroom acquisition from Microsoft. During his 10 year tenure at Microsoft, Erik led various initiatives involving new business opportunities, product management, and product planning of the TV and Media (TVM) organization, including Xbox and Windows Media Center. At Microsoft, Erik managed key operator and consumer electronic partnerships, including Sony, Best Buy, Samsung, Toshiba and Panasonic. Prior to Microsoft, Erik presided as General Manager and Vice President of MovieBeam, a video-on-demand service started with major investment from the Disney Corporation, specifically its subsidiary Buena Vista Datacasting. Erik’s entertainment and wireless communications industry experience also includes working at Dotcast and Cellnet Data Systems. Erik received a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from Harvey Mudd College.


Joseph Hodorowicz, Talent Manager, Studio71: As a talent manager for Studio71, Joe Hodorowicz oversees various ventures and developments for some of the biggest digital influencers including Matthew Santoro, Wassabi, Family Fun Pack, Elite Daily and Just For Laughs among others with millions of loyal fans across multiple platforms. With a deep understanding of the digital space and how it can expand into traditional opportunities, he most recently oversaw Matthew Santoro’s international book release, MIND=BLOWN. As a result, of Hodorwicz’s strategic leadership, Santoro was awarded Breakout Creator at the 2015 Streamy Awards. Additionally, his direct support and attention to Family Fun Pack’s YouTube channel has delivered impactful growth by significantly increasing their audience base and reach through innovative optimization and programming strategy. These efforts have resulted in Family Fun Pack consistently ranking amongst the top channels globally in terms of views per month. Looking ahead, Joe is actively searching for more opportunity in both the live streaming and virtual reality programming with the goal to be hands on in collaborating and creating unique content with creators.


Jen Garcia Allen, Executive Editor, Kardashian/Jenner Apps: Jen Garcia Allen joined Whalerock Industries in July 2015 as the Executive Editor of the Kardashian/Jenner Apps.  In her first eight months, Jen successfully launched the official apps of Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner—as well as the Kimoji app. A respected entertainment journalist, Jen spent more than a decade at PEOPLE and Us Weekly.  At Whalerock Industries, she collaborates with the Kardashian and Jenner women to develop and execute their distinct creative visions.  Jen’s work has resulted in highly engaging editorial content for the groundbreaking platforms—apps and websites—where each woman shares her passions, current obsessions, personal diaries, original videos, signature styles, breaking news announcements, and milestone moments.  The apps enable the women to connect directly with fans through live streaming. Under Jen’s leadership, the apps for Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner were the top-ranked entertainment apps in the app store (1 through 4, respectively) when they launched in September 2015.  Jen’s stewardship also ensured that Kourtney Kardashian’s app was one of the top entertainment apps when it launched in December 2015.  All five apps continue to dominate the charts worldwide.  Upon its release in December 2015, the Kimoji app was the top selling app in 120 countries, and it continues to rank among the best-selling apps in the world. Jen has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from The University of Delaware.  She resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two daughters.
