At Amazon, he works with many brand partners and Agencies to bring unique, creative voice experiences to Alexa and Alexa-enabled devices. These experiences come to life with devices such as Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Amazon Tap and Amazon Fire TV.”

 

Brett Worthington, General Manager for Americas and Vice President of Global Business Development, Samsung SmartThings: Brett Worthington is the General Manager for Americas and Vice President of Global Business Development at Samsung SmartThings, the easiest way to turn your home into a smart home. In this role, he oversees the development of SmartThings’ partnerships and services globally as well as its go to market strategies. Prior to joining SmartThings, Brett was the General Manager of Wink for 2 years, taking the company from launch to commercialization and its eventual exit sale to Flex Inc. Prior to building and launching Wink, Brett worked in several leadership positions across various business units at Ingersoll Rand Corporation over a period of 13 years. Brett joined Ingersoll Rand in 2001 and ended his tenure as Director of Business Development of its connected home business, Nexia Home Intelligence. Before joining Ingersoll Rand, Brett worked for BMC and served for 10-years in the US Army—he is a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom IV & V. Brett holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah and resides in Los Angeles, CA with his wife and two children.

 

Ethan Grey, Chief Strategy Officer, Slate Studio: As a veteran product development strategist, Ethan’s expertise is principally in monetization & commerce, corporate communications, business analysis, advanced web analytics, mobile technical architecture and product / program management. Prior to joining Slate, Ethan lead the digital strategy arm of the MPA: The Association of Magazine Media, where he was the architect of the magazine cross-industry initiative to standardize the analytics and reporting of digital magazine advertising & content across multiple platforms, which included Google, Amazon, Apple & Adobe, among others. Prior to his post at the MPA, Ethan lead the Entertainment & Media division of Übermind / Deloitte Digital, where he managed mobile product development engagements for leading entertainment brands CNN, Turner Broadcasting, CBS, Showtime & FOX, among other top brands. Ethan is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business, and is a certi ed Project Management Professional (PMP), as well as a Certi ed Scrum Master (CSM).

Andrew Howlett, Partner and Chief Digital Officer, Rain: Leading Rain since 2003, Andrew has mixed his finance and business background with his digital knowledge to lead company and client strategy from early concept ideation to go-to-market rollouts. Product development is what he really loves to talk about and has helped create one of the world’s largest cloud-based fitness platforms, the most used digital platform for digital sheet music, the largest digital scrapbook application ever created and a leading smart sprinkler controller, as well as many other digital and physical products. After graduating from Brigham Young University, Andrew began his career with American Express Equipment Finance and has started several companies, including Rain since. He was once run over by a parade float, has parasailed dozens of times behind a Chevy S-10 and was held at gunpoint by the FBI, ATF, McCarron Airport Security and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
