Mike Hildebrandt is vice president of corporate development and strategic partnerships at DAQRI. He is responsible for inorganic growth, which encompasses Fundraising, M&A, and Licensing. Mike works closely with the leadership team and across various divisions of the company to ensure that the company continues to drive growth outside of traditional sales activity. Mike was the owner operator of Xplore Entertainment, a consulting firm that has advised many companies in adopting and understanding new technologies. He helped create the in-game advertising industry, consulting for Midway Games in the early 2000s and has since worked with many technology startups on building better business models, developing sales pipelines, and raising money. Recently was a consultant at Unity Technologies the creator of Unity, an intuitive and flexible development platform used to make wildly creative and intelligently interactive 3D and 2D content Mike holds a B.S and B.A in Cognitive Aspects of Marketing (self-designed) from Vanderbilt University.


Keyvan Peymani is a veteran senior executive and thought leader working in the intersection of technology, media and venture capital. Keyvan joins Touchdown Ventures after serving as the Managing Director, Digital Strategy Division, overseeing venture, digital and business development activities at ICM Partners since 2012. Keyvan has a keen interest in startups in the consumer technology, mobile, analytics, VR/AR and general media spaces and has partnered with companies including Wickr, Screenz, Streamup, Trance, and Cinemacraft. Before joining ICM Partners, Keyvan spent a decade in senior operating roles at Netflix, Warner Brothers, Disney and Nettwerk Music Group, where he led several industry first initiatives in content distribution, mobile applications and new business development. Keyvan began his career leading his own web/tech services and eCommerce startup and has advised Fortune 100 companies around the world. In addition, he currently serves on the faculty of USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, covering entertainment and emerging business models.


Andrew Shulkind is an award-winning cinematographer best known for his creative use of innovative camera and lighting techniques.  As one of the most sought-after commercial cinematographers, Andrew shoots around the globe for a host of well-known brands including Nike, Old Spice, and Apple. Andrew’s auspicious career began as a camera operator for such luminaries as Janusz Kaminski, Don Burgess, and Emanuel Lubeszki.  Since then, Andrew and his work has been profiled in American Cinematographer, Hollywood Reporter, and Variety and has screened at festivals including the Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and many others. Andrew was recently recognized as one of the industry's top emerging cinematographers by the International Cinematographers Guild and in 2014 was the first individual awarded the Studio Prime Award - a distinction reserved for manufacturers leading technological innovation in the world of film.As an innovating director of Virtual Reality Cinematography at Headcase, Andrew provides world class cinema skill sets in developing, building and operating revolutionary 360° Virtual Reality camera systems.


Jacob Carlson is a digital media strategist and consulting manager for Manatt Digital Media, a fully integrated business consulting and legal services firm. Mr. Carlson’s passion lies in all things digital, especially disruptive technology, emerging digital distribution platforms, and the future of content creation and consumption, including eSports and VR/AR. Before joining MDM, Mr. Carlson was a media and entertainment consulting manager for Cognizant Business Consulting, focusing on major studio and broadcasting clients. He provided strategic expertise on projects across the industry such as OTT strategy, data analytics, tailored customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and Agile software development. Prior to his career in media and entertainment consulting, Mr. Carlson received his MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business, where he focused in entrepreneurship and obtained a Business of Entertainment Certificate from the renowned School of Cinematic Arts. He attended Boston College as an undergraduate before becoming a producer in New York, working on multiple international feature film, TV, and commercial products


Joe Michaels is Chief Revenue Officer for AxonVR, leading business development and sales for the premium haptics solution that brings lifelike touch to VR and AR. With over 15 years of business development experience, Michaels specializes in structuring partnerships for companies on the leading edge of new media including digital publishers and VR and AR technologies.  As Microsoft’s Senior Director of Business Development and Strategy, Michaels negotiated partnerships on behalf of MSN, striking deals with television networks, film studios, television producers, music labels, news publishers, sports leagues and many others. He was instrumental in the development of MSN Video, the first major ad-supported video service on the Internet, as well as MSN Originals, a pioneer of digital video series. Prior to Microsoft, Michaels co-founded affiliate marketing company Nexchange Corporation which earned 5 U.S. patents. He began his career as a television writer and producer in Washington, DC, and earned his BA from Georgetown University and MBA from The Wharton School.

Sim Blaustein, Partner, Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments: Sim joined BDMI in 2012 from High Line Venture Partners, where he co-founded the seed fund, and has been in venture capital since 2002.  In addition to spearheading BDMI's seed fund, he led or co-led BDMI’s investments in StyleHaul (acquired by RTL), Dramafever (acquired by Softbank), Food52, Frank & Oak, Jukin Media and Nativo.  He is actively focused on new investments in online video and next-generation content-driven companies.  He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, an engineering degree from the Cooper Union and is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School.
