Mark Carlson co-founded SimpleFeed in 2004 and has served as CEO since the company’s inception. Previously, Mark was CFO at First to File, an enterprise software company he sold to MarkMonitor. He was also general manager of the internet security group of CyberMedia, a public company later acquired by Network Associates/McAfee. Mark joined CyberMedia when it acquired Walk Softly, Inc., a company he founded and helmed as CEO. At Walk Softly, Mark led marketing and development of Guard Dog, an internet privacy and security product that became a PC Data Top 10 product. Before he started Walk Softly, Mark was CFO and vice president of business development at Digital Pictures. He began his career in the technology investment banking departments of Montgomery Securities and PaineWebber after graduating from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.


Terry Redfield has always had a love affair with social media and video games. She started at age 15, helping to test and create content for text based online communities called BBSs, MUDs, and MOOs, until the birth of graphical virtual worlds called Massively Multiplayer Online Games or MMOs. She spent over 5 years immersed in one of the first MMO's, Everquest, leading and organizing over 300 users at a time for the test server design staff. After completing her Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design at San Jose State, she started her career in games at 3DO in 1996, and has designed and created art for AAA titles ranging from the highly stylized, award winning game "Psychonauts" to casual online projects like "vMTV" and Disney’s “Gardens of Time”. In 2009 she was the founder and CEO of the start up company, Real Life Plus, creating a comfortable synergy between casual games and real life goods.  In 2014 she founded the company Wicked Fun to create and explore a brand new genre of games, puzzle battlers.  In June 2015 Wicked Fun launched its first beta in this genre, “Force of Elements”.


Chuck Fishman, Director, Media, Entertainment and Publishing, Acquia: As Media, Entertainment and Publishing Director, Chuck Fishman leads Acquia's engagements with the various segments of those industries including music, TV, film, books and magazines, broadcasting and digital media. Acquia enables companies across all industries to develop and manage amazing digital experiences. Fishman also co-chairs the direct marketing and CRM workgroup at helping to set music industry best practices and standards for reaching music fans through artist web sites. At Cisco Systems for 5 years, he managed media and entertainment partnerships for the technology giant including managing the company's partnership with the Warner Music Group. In 2012 after leaving Cisco, Chuck successfully launched the <> music promotion platform for record labels. His work with partner Rostrum Records led to successful digital releases for superstar rappers Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. Teri Thompson, Marketing & Social Media Strategist, Rocky Peak Enterprises, LLC: Teri Thompson is an award-winning advertising, promotions and social media strategist, adjunct professor, author, and international public speaker specializing in social media, new technology, and marketing for entertainment, education, automotive, retail, government, non-profit clients, and the luxury leisure industry. She has held creative and executive positions at Disney/ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox Sports Net where she won awards for launching stars, series, movies, stations, and networks. She has developed sales marketing partnerships with McDonald’s, General Motors, Toyota, Coors, Microsoft, Dominos, Nokia and other major brands. Lindsey Buchanan is the Director of Social Media at Ayzenberg, a leading West Coast agency with top-tier clients. Lindsey received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications at Indiana University – Bloomington before beginning her career journey in Los Angeles. Lindsey is a creative thinker and strategic marketer with a knack and serious passion for bringing content, brands, and audiences together in unique and innovative ways. Her work is a hodgepodge of creative strategy, entertainment, brand marketing, and technology. Lindsey began her career in the television department at Brillstein Entertainment Partners where she worked with several A-list actors and writers on development projects. From there, she discovered the world of branded entertainment where she executed digital marketing strategies + gaming programming for leading brands including Cisco, Doritos, Duracell, and GameStop. Lindsey continued to work in gaming space with a brief stint at Machinima until she found herself entering the world of entertainment PR as lead Creative Strategist at Rogers & Cowan. At R&C, Lindsey helped secure new business clients including Tinder, Mondrian, The Recording Academy, GRAMMYs, AARP, and Topps + Bazooka. Having been an early adopter of all things digital and social, Lindsey’s expertise lead her to where she is now, at Ayzenberg Group, implementing creative strategy for clients including City of Hope, Xbox, and Zynga.
