Kevin Westcott, US Consulting Media & Entertainment Leader, Deloitte Consulting LLP: Kevin is a partner and leads the US Media and Entertainment practice for Deloitte Consulting LLP. He has over 25 years of experience in strategic and operational planning, as well as implementing global business change and technology projects for major media organizations. His industry experience spans Film, TV, Home Entertainment, Broadcasting, Publishing, Licensing, and Games. Kevin is a co-author of Deloitte’s Digital Media Maturity Model and speaks regularly on media consumption trends.

Betsy Loredo, Executive Editor, North America Media Production, Sesame Workshop: Betsy Loredo is Executive Editor and an app producer of books and digital experiences at Sesame Workshop. In her more than two decades with the company, Betsy has managed content projects for a wide range of Workshop properties including Sesame Street, The Electric Company, Sagwa, Ghostwriter, and Square One. In 2009, she co-wrote and edited Sesame Street – A Celebration, the definitive illustrated history of the show, spanning forty years. Apps are an increasing focus of her work. She has been the content lead on award-winning apps such as The Monster at the End of This Book, Another Monster at the End of This Book, The Great Cookie Thief, and Big Bird’s Words. Prior to joining Sesame Workshop, Betsy worked as editor on a series of children’s magazines featuring beloved cultural icons such as Mickey Mouse, Barbie, G.I. Joe, and the Statue of Liberty. She’s developed content for Nickelodeon television shows, and Nickelodeon’s website and magazines, as well as produced a number of children’s storybooks.

 

Frank Sinton is the cofounder and CEO of Beachfront Media, a full stack video company with solutions for publishers, advertisers, and developers. Beachfront Media provides solutions for video discovery, video syndication, and video app development for managing and monetizing video applications across screens, mobile devices and connected TVs. Previously, Frank worked for Sony Pictures Entertainment as Executive Director of Architecture.

 

Laura Williams Argilla, Director of Services and Workflows, Professional Video, Adobe: Laura Williams Argilla is director of services and workflow for the Digital Video and Audio team at Adobe. In this role, Laura is responsible for creating connected experiences for Adobe customers helping them make the most of their digital workflows. Laura has held a number of positions at Adobe including director of product development for Adobe Story, director of quality engineering for the professional video team. Prior to Adobe, Laura taught video editing and was the technical director at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She has been involved in various organizations that support film, art and women in technology. Laure earned her undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Washington in digital media and new media storytelling. She holds a number of professional certifications.

 

Lewis Rothkopf, Chief Revenue Officer, AdsNative : As Chief Revenue Officer of AdsNative, Lewis Rothkopf leads worldwide sales, strategic partnerships and marketing for the company's suite of monetization solutions for leading publishers and app developers. Rothkopf joins AdsNative with 17 years experience in the digital advertising industry, most recently from Aol’s Millennial Media, where he was responsible for all supply-side relationships and publisher-facing sales worldwide as SVP of Global Monetization Solutions. He joined Millennial via the company's acquisition of Jumptap, where he led the mobile ad network's publisher acquisition and network development as SVP. Prior to Jumptap, Rothkopf served as general manager of AMP, a sell-side data and media management platform, for multi-screen company Collective. Previously, Rothkopf was SVP of Network and Exchange at BrightRoll (now part of Yahoo), where he built, scaled, and managed the company's industry-leading video ad network, programmatic video ad exchange, and mobile inventory businesses. Earlier in his career, Rothkopf led content distribution partnerships for NBCUniversal’s digital video syndication and advertising platform. Additionally, he spent five years at DoubleClick (now Google) in strategic sales, building strong relationships with large publishers and multimedia networks.

 

Marty Schecter is the Vice President for Product Development & Management for Wiley's Knowledge Services division. In this role he leads the digital transformation strategy for professional education and learning as this 208-year-old publisher transforms into a digital learning company. In addition to leading a global team of product managers and digital marketers driving Wiley's high-growth digital test prep products, his responsibilities include digital strategy development for brands such as For Dummies, and innovation and acceleration of new digital products and market entries through market research, customer inquiry, business planning, partnership development, and go-to-market strategies.  Prior to joining Wiley in 2009, Mr. Schecter ran his own digital marketing agency, Juxta Digital, which he co-founded in 1997. Juxta Digital continues to produce branded websites, e-commerce, and mobile and social media campaigns for companies in finance, technology, publishing, television, advertising, and consumer packaged goods. Prior to co-founding Juxta Digital, Mr. Schecter was the Executive Producer at On2.com, an online video entertainment destination, and taught Creative Writing and Cultural Studies at Drake University from 1992 - 1994. Mr. Schecter has an MBA in Finance as well as an MFA in Fiction, and is the author of a novel (Crown, 1992), several short stories and essays, and the associate producer of a Bravo mini-series. He speaks regularly at digital conferences such as Digital Hollywood.

 

Scott L Brown, SVP Global Engineering & Strategic Relations, The Nielsen Company: Scott L. Brown serves as Senior Vice President, Global Communications, Client Insights & Strategic Relations for Nielsen. In this role, Scott is a frequent speaker and sought after visionary for impending changes to the media landscape, the impact of new technology, and for the path of new advertising models. Scott is responsible for client insights and communications, strategic business relationships, and works with media strategy and digital platform development for the company. Scott focuses much of his time on establishing and managing business relationships with advanced technology and new media companies. He is the key company spokesperson for evolving television technologies, advanced metering systems, and new technology development. Scott provides the internal and external company vision and leadership for the new world of digital convergence, connected TV technology, and multi platform measurement, etc. Scott, is a veteran of Nielsen, with roots going back to Advanced Software Systems Design, progressing into Senior Operations Management, and then into his current position with Nielsen. Scott's expertise is grounded in technology, the implications for Nielsen measurement, coupled with a deep client following on what is relevant in the media world. Scott is frequently asked to forecast the future for major advertisers, and media companies. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters Degree from Illinois State University.
