Steve Callanan, CEO, WIREWAX, an Electronic Engineering major, started his career in television – creating shows with record-breaking audience share for all the major networks. He established his first production company in 2001 producing movie trailers, motion graphics, music videos and commercials; and was also producing over 400 hours of branded, short-form fashion and beauty content for the four biggest lifestyle publishers. Steve proposed that online video content should be as ‘connected’ as the rest of the web; linking pixels to people, products and information was the goal. He engineered the world’s first shoppable video player which lead to the most powerful interactive video platform to help hundreds of global brands realize their video potential. Nike, Target, BBC, NBC, TBS, Xbox, Coach, Best Buy, and many more have already enlisted WIREWAX to ensure their videos work harder.


Josh Lamb, Executive Producer, Multipop: Lamb has proven himself a business innovator, bringing a fresh vision and bold approach to industry leaders such as Frito Lay and Robert Half International. In 2009, Lamb co-founded The Shadow Gang, a transmedia company built to develop an original experience called BZRK in partnership with best-selling author Michael Grant and Egmont Publishing. With the sales of foreign book rights in over 14 countries, and movie option rights to Sony Pictures within a year of fruition, and prior to the mainstream book launch, Lamb proved that a multi-platform narrative experience could help build an audience and global reach. That experience led Lamb and CTO, Steve Harshbarger to develop Multipop. Built with content creators and their publishers at the core, Multipop delivers interactive videos across virtually any platform. Quickly add a variety of content items like merchandise, advertising, commentary and voting, all without disrupting the core experience. His goal: help producers deliver effective money making content and a great user experience to the audience so everyone can win!


Bruce Luizzi, CEO ATLX: Bruce Luizzi brings more than 15 years of Sales and Management experience to ATLX.  Most recently he served as Vice President of National Accounts for Valassis Communications, Inc.; one of the nation’s leading media and marketing companies.  For more than six years, Luizzi was in charge of overseeing specialty retail accounts including RadioShack and Bridgestone/Firestone. Other account management responsibilities included McDonalds, Goodyear and JC Penney. Prior to Valassis Communications, Luizzi served as a recruiter for Advanced Athletic Representation, a full-service agency specializing in contract negotiations, marketing and endorsements, public relations, personal brand building and post-career counseling. An athlete himself, Luizzi signed with the Canadian Football League’s British Columbia Lions during the 1993 season.  Still an avid sports enthusiast, he continues to exercise his passion for strength training and conditioning while also appearing in sports magazines, commercials, TV shows and movies. Luizzi attended the University of Southern California, where he earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business and Communications.  While at USC, Luizzi served as member of the Trojan Football team where he carried special teams captain honors during the 1991 and 1992 seasons. He also participated in two Rose Bowl games and ran track.


Jeffrey Stansfield is the President and CEO of Advantage Video Systems, a leading technology provider to the broadcast, motion picture, television and motion graphics industries. Stansfield launched AVS in 2001 and has steadily built its clientele by focusing on one customer at a time. His slogan, “How can we make your day perfect?” drives him and his team to empower clients with the latest information and technology solutions. His company’s work encompasses workflow consultation, design, installation and integration. Stansfield has served as a general board member, treasurer and secretary of SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers). He supports many other industry organizations including the Creative Pro User Group Network, the Digital Cinema Society, the Hollywood Post Alliance, the Society of Television Engineers and the National Association of Broadcasters. His more than 25 years of experience includes the construction of broadcast facilities as well as technology services for production and post-production facilities, special effects businesses and motion graphics businesses.  Stansfield is a certified editor in Final Cut, Avid and Adobe Premiere, and a beta tester for Adobe After Effects and Premiere. He holds certifications in cabling systems, including fiber, and offers expertise in cameras, lighting, shared storage and asset management solutions.


Travis Howe, Senior Vice President, Client Services & Operations, INVISION: Prior to joining INVISION, Travis served as Senior Vice President for the Americas overseeing Sales Development and Ad Operations functions for Sony’s Digital Ad Sales division. He founded the division in 2006 that manages digital ad sales for Sony’s entertainment companies including: PlayStation, Sony Pictures, and Sony Pictures Television across online, mobile, PlayStation 3 and Sony’s suite of connected devices. Additionally, he was accountable for ad operations in South America for Crackle’s Latin American sites. Prior to Sony, Travis was an Operational Strategy Consultant for Inforte where he focused on mergers and acquisition in the U.S. and Europe. Previous to Inforte, Travis served as a Change Management Consultant for Accenture, focusing on the entertainment, travel, tourism, and consumer products verticals.


Markus Almer, VP Business Development, VideoRx:  As the vice president of business development at VideoRx, Markus Almer is responsible for business development and account management.  He has worked with clients like Toyota, DIRECTV, Comcast, IKEA as well as start-up companies, to identify business opportunities and develop enterprise level online video solutions for all platforms and devices. He speaks at events and conferences including Digital Hollywood, the American Marketing Association and Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce. Previously he was president and co-founder of Almer/Blank, a digital agency in Los Angeles. He began his career in digital media by introducing patented digital business card technology to the U.S. market. Markus earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Zurich.

Ken Nicholas, Head of Sales, West – VideoAmp: Ken Nicholas runs the Headquarters sales team for VideoAmp, a Silicon Beach startup founded in 2014 by Ross McCray & Dave Gullo. VideoAmp is a cross-screen software technology solution for the advertising world. Along with a current focus on West Coast sales, Ken has been in the lead on VideoAmp’s Enterprise, global Agency holding company, and International sales efforts since coming on board as one of two sales people, there since the beginning.
